Yes, you can cancel your Motability car early. Typically Motability Scheme agreements run for three or five years. However, if you need to cancel your lease early, there may be concessions that allow you to end it before this term.

Can I buy my Motability car after 5 years?

Can I change my Motability car after 1 year?
You will need to have at least 12 months’ remaining on your qualifying allowance to order a new car. If you have less than 12 months remaining when it’s time to place a new application, or you would prefer to wait until you have confirmation of your new award, we will be able to extend your current lease.
